2 Timothy 3: 1-5  1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (NIV) 

This scripture was written by the Apostle Paul over 2,000 years ago and when we look at the condition of the world today, we can say these things happening right before our eyes. 
There is a way of thinking that is the foundation for what we see today and it is called anti-Christ thinking. Anti-Christ simply means any idea or lifestyle that is against Jesus Christ. One of those ideas that is prevalent in our society today is Tolerance and Acceptance. Too many people want to excuse the practice of sin with slogans like “God loves everybody” “Do what feels good to you” “Do you” and “Don’t judge” So I want to address this idea of Tolerance and Acceptance.

If I told you 60 years ago, (the 1950s), that there would be a concerted attempt to remove Jesus Christ from every aspect of American life, you would say I am crazy. Yet today, a teacher can lose her job by talking about the historical Jesus in public schools. There are people who want the phrase “in God we trust” be removed from the US dollar bills. Also several states are removing the “Ten Commandments” and any Biblical symbols from courthouses.

If I told you 60 years ago (the 1950s) that a day would come when men could marry men and women marry women in America, you would say I was crazy. But in 2013, the Supreme Court of the United States made this the law of the land. This is in total contradiction to the God’s Word which defines marriage as between one man and one woman. The society has its views and God has His view as written in His Word. Obviously more and more secular leaders in power no longer believe the pledge of allegiance that America is no longer "...one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" 

What is happening to America? Where are we going? We are in moral decline and perhaps we can no longer be considered the moral leader of the world. We, along with South Korea, are the countries with the most Christian missionaries around the world. But our moral decline is threatening our position. We promote the gospel via TV more than any other country so we are a target for the enemies of Christianity (i.e. kingdom of darkness). Satan already has the world and he is after the church.  I want to join others to sounding the alarm but also to state categorically that this environment is fertile ground to stand up for the gospel and win souls for the Kingdom of God.

In order to understand what happening, I need to identify some of the false anti-Christ ideas that are influencing this moral decay. Anti-Christ simply means any idea that is against Christ.

Authority of the Bible – Society says that Bible is outdated, is written by man, and is one of the holy books. But the Bible says in 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Religion – Society says that all religions are the same and all lead to salvation. And we all serve the same god. God, Allah, Buddha etc. are all the same. But the Bible says in Deut. 8:19 “...if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish." 

The world says that truth is relative and there is no absolute truth. Our culture has done a number on the idea of truth. It teaches that truth and morality are relative which depends on the individual. In other words, there is no such thing as absolute truth.  But the Bible says in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Note Jesus is not one of the ways - He is the only way. Jesus said it and Christians believe it and that settles it for us.

Role of personal relationships – pleasing people and what’s popular is the way to advance in society. But the Bible says in Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God?   or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the   servant of Christ.

Spirituality and Oneness with a higher consciousness, the universe, force or spirit. None of this is the same as the God of the Bible.

Tolerance and Acceptance – Christians must accept other beliefs because those beliefs are popular and accepted by most of society, otherwise you are intolerant, hateful and bigoted.   But the Bible says in John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments

While Christians can recognize the right of others to have different beliefs, we cannot allow those beliefs to go unchallenged for one simple reason: it is not loving, and Jesus calls us to love.

Acceptance and Tolerance:

One of the first excuses people use when they want to justify sinful activity is that God loves everybody. Of course they are correct, God does love everybody. However God also hates sin and wrongdoing and cannot have it around Him. If you are linked to sinful practices, you will feel the penalty when God judges the sin because you are connected to it. He requires confession and repentance (which is acknowledgement of sin and change of direction). But people and society want Christians to tolerate sin. Now tolerance means to recognize that people have different beliefs and that they have a right to do so. However, tolerance in America can now mean accepting that other beliefs are true even if they go against the Bible. In other words, Christians must accept beliefs and practices that the Bible says are wrong, evil and even an abomination. Christians cannot accept sin as legitimate, even if it is the law of the land such as the law approving abortion.

We Christians expect others to have different beliefs about the Bible, God and Jesus Christ. We are not surprised that some people don’t believe in the earth was created in six days.

In Romans 1:18-25 the Bible explains that the complexity of God's design of nature (the stars, earth, trees, seasons, billions of insects with complex design) are all proof and evidence of His creation, but many will refuse to believe what their eyes tell them. So we can tolerate their unbelief. So Christians are to tolerate others when they have different beliefs about God. But tolerance does not mean agreement or acceptance!

But in today’s world, do we Christians get tolerance in return? The answer is a big fat NO. In April of 2013 a professional basketball player came out and stated that he was gay. Immediately, the majority of the media and many leading sports and entertainment people celebrated his  “courage”. They asked a Christian sports reporter to give his opinion and he stated that he was opposed to gay behavior because he believed the Bible. The reporter was ridiculed as being hateful, bigoted and narrow-minded. In other words he must not have a worldview that is different. What’s going on here? What about freedom of expression? Are we Christians now going to be harassed and called names because of our beliefs? The society is demanding that Christians tolerate and accept beliefs that are contrary or opposed to the Bible. Christians cannot do that. Our Bible says:

Luke 6:22-23  Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Jesus said in John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

In other words when the world hates us, we need to remember they do so because they hated Christ first. What is this now? I am a Christian, you ask me my view, I give you my view which is based on my belief system the Bible. And the response I get is that I am narrow minded, hateful and biased. Are we getting to the place where the Bible will be declared as hate speech? I am sounding the alarm. Don’t take your freedom of religion for granted. It is foolish to expect tolerance and acceptance from others toward our Christian beliefs, even if they demand tolerance and acceptance for their own beliefs. The Bible tells us clearly: if we expect or look for tolerance from the world – Think Again - we will not get it.

This tolerance and acceptance of sinful practices is a growing demand against the Christian faith. But how do we respond to this intolerance towards us? We go to our life manual - the Bible

Matt 5:43-44 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. ⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 

So we are to love our enemies and pray for them. We do not play by the society’s rules. Our response to intolerance must not be anger, fear and hate. Instead, we express the love of Christ which we have in us. Sometimes too many Christians respond to unbelievers with hate and so alienate them. This is contrary to scripture. We show love for the person but reject the sinful practices. Tragically, the our society no longer defines "tolerance" as the recognition that others have a right to different beliefs and opinions. It now means complete acceptance of those beliefs even if those beliefs contradicts our Christian beliefs. But this makes no sense because to accept this type of tolerance eliminates my personal opinion or belief. Christians are not to endorse, support or accept any social or religious beliefs that go against what the Bible teaches. This means that Christians are going to face discrimination for their beliefs in school, colleges, jobs, courts, media, business, community organizations etc. The challenges are coming if they are not here yet. I am sounding the alarm and I know that I am not alone. The Christian is and must continue to sound the alarm.

The problem with tolerance and acceptance today is that it rejects the possibility that absolute truth exists. The Bible teaches that truth does exist, that God is truth, and that we are to follow in His truth.  John 1:14 and 17 says that Jesus, who came from the Father, gives us truth.  John 8:32 says that the truth sets us free from the control of sin.

The Bible is also clear regarding those who hide or distort the truth in the name of tolerance. Romans 1:18 says whoever suppresses the truth will receive the wrath of God. In Matt 28:19-20 Jesus says that our mission is to teach others of the truth about Him. 1 Cor 13:6  says, "Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth."

So it’s not surprising that the secular society will call Christians narrow minded, bigots and intolerant. Should a Christian be tolerant of others beliefs? Yes. The Bible teaches that many will reject Jesus Christ. We should be prepared to accept that, as well as the fact that those who reject God will reject His followers. Christians should not endorse the belief that all religions lead to God, that truth is a personal construct, or that everyone's beliefs are valid. Jesus is the truth. Christians are called to tolerate – and to love – people without accepting their beliefs. So we overcome evil with good and the love in us will win the unbeliever. We are not giving up on America. Christians will stand up for truth in love.

Seeking The Truth about Good Friday by Samuel H Johnson

How do you calculate three days and three nights from Friday afternoon to early Sunday morning? 

Since I became Christian and really began to read the Bible, I have asked the question - Did Jesus die on Good Friday? I know that I am stepping on some traditional church toes. Some Christians feel that you are almost committing a sin to ask questions like these. But I have always been a person who asks questions when something seems off. The Bible tells us that we must be ready with an answer to questions:

  

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. 

I see no sin here but only an appetite for the truth. If I must be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks me why I am a believer in Christ, then I must also be ready to give an answer to anyone who questions anything in the Bible.

So how do you calculate three days and three nights from Friday afternoon to early Sunday morning?

I have read many answers, even by some theologians I admire, who try to explain how to calculate three days and three nights from Friday afternoon to early Sunday morning. I have spoken to friends also to no satisfaction. The main explanation is that any part of a day was considered as a day as the custom of the Jews in those times. Some have used the event in Acts 10 when Peter was directed by the Holy Spirit to see Cornelius, a Roman centurion. Cornelius had previously had a vision in which he was instructed to summon Peter to his home. They calculated the time it took Peter to meet Cornelius to determine the "true" meaning of a day (specifically Acts 10:30 based on the words of Cornelius).  Their conclusion? - any part of a day is considered a day.

My response is - How about the words of Jesus to settle the matter? Look at these verses: 

Matt 12: 39-40 But He answered and saith to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" 

John 11: 9-11 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because light is not in him" These things He said and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up"

Jesus makes it very clear - 12 hours in a day and 12 hours in the night! This is plain speaking. This is important because Christians must adhere to the Bible. If skeptics and unbelievers can find us preaching and practicing something that is contrary to the Bible, they will think that the Bible has contradictions. The Bible does not. It is important to get it right since Good Friday is a huge event in Christian practice today. It is required, (in my opinion), for us to memorialize the death of Christ on the cross because He took on Himself the sin of every human being who ever lived or will live in the future. However we must be consistent with the Bible.

 
This is something for Christians to contemplate. If anyone can show me how to get three days and three nights from Friday to Sunday - please show me.  The words of Jesus can never be wrong.

Mime Ministry - Pagan Practice in the Church!!

Why are churches opening their sanctuaries to pagan and secular activities in these last days of the year 2014? The so-called mime ministry is a typical example of this invasion. The origin of mime is Greek and Roman pagan practice.  

Pantomimes or “the panto” originated in Greece and was worship to the pagan god of the theatre, Dionysus. Dionysus inspired joyful worship, ecstasy and festivals. At these festivals and celebrations mimes, actors and a myriad of entertainment filled the theaters. It involved a dance of bodily movements - facial gestures preformed by actors at festivals in honor of Dionysus. Mimes were used in Greek religious ceremonies and banquets and Telestes in Greece is believed to be the first pantomime actor.

When the Romans adopted pantomime, men and women would paint their face white  - so that no one could tell who’s who during the performance. Sometimes all kinds of wild orgies and drinking parties followed the event. When Roman mimes (sometimes naked) performed at private banquets and courts all over Europe, they honored the fertility goddesses.

The Apostle Paul encountered pagan practice when he visited Athens, Greece. This is recorded in Acts 17. The Bible says in Acts 17:16

Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols.

The Apostle Paul preached the gospel on Mars Hill. As he was preturbed at the sight of false idols and pagan worship that went on in the temple theatre. Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ Hill, and said,

“Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you” Acts 17:23

The great theologian Charles H. Spurgeon, (in an article in “Cult of Celebrity” posted on July 17, 2013 by Chrystal Whitt),  warned the church of his day of the futility and falsehood of using amusement and entertainment to win souls - he pointed out two things: 

(i)         My first contention is that providing amusement for the people is nowhere spoken of in the Scriptures as a function of the church. If it is a Christian work, why did not Christ speak of it?   

(ii)     “In vain will the Epistles be searched to find any trace of this gospel of amusement! 

It is sad to see Christians (some deceived and some knowingly) support pagan worship in the church. They seem to think that the church can increase its membership by bringing secular practice into the church. There is a belief that this will attract people (especially young people) into the church. This is apostasy; this is compromise of the Gospel of Christ. This is mixing the holy and the profane. This is a sign of the rise of the false church from within the true church.

The Apostle Paul warned the church in Acts 20: 28- 30:

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  

It is time for more of us, Christians to be more vigilant and stand against false pagan invasion of the church. In 2 Corinthians 6, the Apostle Paul warns us about mixing the holy and profane. For there cannot be any agreement between the temple of God with idols because every believer is the temple of the living God. We must come out from among pagan practices, be separate, and do not be associated with “mime ministry” 

We have to expose this cancer, "Mime Ministry" wherever it shows its ugly head. It is satan behind the mask. We have souls to win for the Kingdom of God in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

THREE CHRISTIAN REQUIREMENTS OF DENYING SELF by Samuel H Johnson

The question I want to ask every Christian is: Can you deny yourself for the cause of Christ? The Bible says in Mark 8:35

“Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me”

It is becoming more and more difficult in our society today to be a true Christian. The pressures to compromise the Word of God, to go with what’s popular is intensifying day by day. The name of Jesus is becoming more and more hated in the world. Philosophies like - All religions are the same; there is more than one way to God; Ideas like “Jesus was just another prophet” all mislead the society about the truth of Jesus Christ. The media of TV, Hollywood, magazines, and secular organizations of all types are more and more hostile to Christ. But the truth of the Bible remains solid as a Rock that

(Phil 2:9-11) “every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God”

Not just some knees will bow, but every knee – Christian knees, churchgoer, unbeliever, and atheist; the knees of presidents, governors, mayors, CEOs, billionaires, dictators, or scientists. Every knee will bow. The Bible guarantees it. This is why the rebellion against and rejection of the Word of God and the name of Jesus is getting more intense today. People just want to do their own thing! This makes the life of the Christian more challenging since we go against the flow of society by following the Bible. But we will be up to the task if we stick with the Word of God come “hell or high water” as the saying goes. The popular culture says the Bible is outdated but every day the Bible is confirmed by the events of the day and the moral decline of the society. Pop culture has no true answers to the condition of life today.

In the passage Jesus is teaching us what it takes to follow Him in this wicked and perverse world.

“If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].”

Here Jesus is calling for self-denial. Two phrases that stand out “deny himself” and “take up his cross”

What does it mean to deny self? and take up the cross?

Self Denial: This is the setting aside of your own wishes, needs, or interests, for the interest of another. It could be in a relationship or for a cause. Our flesh desires fame and fortune. Our flesh desires money, comfort and physical satisfaction at the expense of people. There is nothing wrong with these desires unless selfish ambition is the motive. Selfishness is the character of the flesh. And our flesh will sin to satisfy those desires. But God desires for us to be cleansed from sin and obedient to his Word.

Christians must practice self denial daily and not seek to do our own thing at the expense of others. It's all about God's will and doing things to please Him and not just pleasing ourselves. We discover our purpose and destiny for life when we please God and He will give us the desires of our heart. Everyone wishes that they can have the desires of their heart fulfilled. Some think money can do it while others seek fame, power, position and title. They become sadly mistaken since many who seek these things are depressed, sad, become addicted to drugs and alcohol, commit evil acts or even suicide. True fulfillment only comes from pleasing God through Jesus Christ.

Take up His cross: Now what did Jesus mean? Many people interpret “cross” as some burden they must carry in their lives: a difficult marriage or relationship, a dead-end job, or a chronic health problem or illness. Some people will take even pride in saying “This burden is my cross I have to carry” You are denying the healing and delivering power of God. This is not what Jesus meant when He said, “Take up your cross and follow Me.” You take up your cross when you take up the cause of Christ. Conform to the image of Christ daily and preach and live the Kingdom of God to every people and nation. It means that our lives must reflect  – Love, joy, peace, faith, longsuffering (patient endurance), goodness, meekness, gentleness and temperance (self-control) - the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24)

Each Christian must look into the mirror of his/her soul and answer these questions

• Can I follow Jesus if it means the loss of my image or reputation?
• Can I follow Jesus if it means losing my closest friends?
• Can I follow Jesus if it means rejection from my family?
• Can I follow Jesus if it means losing my job?
• Can I follow Jesus if it means losing my life? (Christians are jailed and killed in some countries because of their belief in Jesus)

These are not easy questions but they challenge our Christian lifestyle. Some Christians might say, “I did not sign up for this discipline thing, this self denial thing, this take up the cross thing; I just want to have a good time in church” But there are rewards for self denial. The call may tough but the rewards are priceless.

The three things about self denial are:

Self Denial involves following Christ above self

The society (or world system) says look out for No.1, because nobody will look out for you. This is selfish thinking that glorifies self. Personal achievement, our education, social position is just as important as our submission to Christ. We take pride in thinking that these were obtained by our own intelligence and smarts. We forget about God. This gets us into pride and blind ambition.  You have placed yourself first; crowned yourself King and Christ will have to take second place. This is contrary to the Word of God

Christ commands that we take up the cross. (Matt 16:24, Luke 14:27). Christ commands that we give up our interests and put Him first. (In Acts 5:27-29 imprisoned apostles received a miracle release by an angel of the Lord because they put Jesus first)
Christ commands that we "seek first the Kingdom of God and his religiousness and all these things will be added unto you” (Matt 6:33). There is no self denial doing your own thing. We cannot serve Christ and live by the opinion that "Everybody doing it" There is no self-denial in thinking you can preach better, pray better, worship better than somebody else. Can you look past yourself, which is your ego? Otherwise you will place yourself at the center of your life and not Christ. That is idolatry and rebellion and the power of God will not work in your lives. The life of the Christian is learning and growing in absolute surrender to Christ. The rewards and blessings are great both in this life and in the life to come.

The example of Christ is the pattern for self denial. He is always saying that He came to do the will of his Father and not his own will (John 5:30). The ultimate example of self denial and taking up the cross is Jesus Himself. He gave up His life so that we may not perish but have everlasting life. So to those who don't know Him, now is the time to ask Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior.


Self Denial involves following Christ above family, relatives and friends

The correct order is Christ, Family then Ministry. If we are going to follow Christ, we must put Him above family, relatives and friends. (Luke 14:26; Matt 10:37). Christ must come first in all things (Col 1:18; Matt 6:33)

Self Denial involves following Christ above and material riches

We cannot serve God and mammon (or money) (Matt 6:24). Christ commands that all our possessions be subservient to Him ( Mark 10:21, Matt 19:21). Christ commands that we develop a giving character. This shows that we place Christ above material riches. (Mal 3:10-11, 2 Co.r 9:7)

The benefit of self denial is joy, peace, blessings and a fulfilled life. The result of your self denial, your commitment to Christ, and your commitment to the Kingdom of God is developing a Christ like character.

Christianity is Under Attack in America by Samuel H Johnson

If you told a Christian fifty years (50) ago that there were people who wanted to remove the God of the Bible from every area of American life, they would say you were crazy. But that is the American landscape in September 2011, ten(10) years after the World Trade Center tragedy. Christians need to take these signs more seriously.

We are living in a period of intensified attack on the Christian worldview, on believers in Jesus Christ than ever before in America.

We have banned prayer in school, trying to remove God from everything even the dollar bill. There is open attack on marriage, seduction to accept the things of the world – its culture, beliefs, and social norms. TV, movies, Internet, technology, music, relationships between people, fashion, culture are all used to draw Christians away from Christ and to the world. Our young people and children are under intensified attack to accept the ways of the world and not the way of Christ. This attack is a spiritual attack. Satan and the kingdom of darkness want to seduce and draw every Christian away from God. That system of darkness has people who promote sin as "natural" and "normal". They include people with power, influence and money in our society, many of whom are behind the scenes regardless of political party or political viewpoint. Their methods are manipulation and deception that keep the majority of people preoccupied with entertainment.

The Bible in 1 John 2:15 - "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him". Here the Word of God says “love not the world”. Don’t get tied up, hooked up with the society’s way of doing things.

So Christians cannot afford to think like, look like, dress like, behave like, believe like the world to be popular or accepted. So don’t look for the society to accept you. The world will hate Christians because they already hate Jesus. Why does the world hate Christian Lifestyle? – Because your lifestyle expose their sinful lifestyles. In fact, if the society loves you and celebrates you, then you should examine your Christian lifestyle.

The secular society doesn’t need a Christian who behaves like them; they need Christians to stand firm on the Word of God. They will come to us for answers when they have no answers to life's problems (when their money, power, title or position can't solve their problems). Christians cannot have "one foot in church and one in the world". Can’t mix the two; it is Christ or the world, heaven or hell, holy or profane. Don’t mix. The Bible in James 4:4 states "…….. know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Did you hear that? A Friend of the world gets involved in the things of the world; secular talk shows that promote ungodly acts, celebrity worship, looking for star status, marrying an unbeliever, having sexual relations outside marriage etc. This may look innocent at first but it’s satan’s way of drawing you away from your faith in Christ. Christians must measure everything by the Word of God. What you say, hear, see, do, read - if it does not line up, discard it right away. Your eternal destiny is at stake. Be ye separate.

Why? The society (world system) and its belief system represent a moral, rotten, decaying, lost future. Many Bible scriptures already prophesied that these days about the world system were coming and we are seeing the proof every day. Christians have no excuse to mix the things of God and the world. We must stand firm on the Word of God.

What then should we Christian be doing?
Hear what Jesus said John 4:19 -Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

This is Jesus. He’s saying that he does not do His own will; He does what the Father tells Him to do. We must do the same.
1. Read and believe the Word of God every day (not only Sunday in church)
2. Meditate on the Word of God (go over it every day)
3. Practice the Word of God (the key to victory) by measuring everything against the Word of God and you would not be seduced.

Christianity is under attack. Christians must stand firm on the Word of

God. The society has nothing redeeming to offer you and I. Loving the world will separate you and I from God. God is depending on Christians today to stand firm on His Word, it’s a lifestyle; it’s the central criteria in winning the lost. We cannot afford to do anything less than that.
